Your contacts can become audiences on all three networks: Matched Audiences on LinkedIn, Customer Match on Google and Custom Audiences on Meta. That way you advertise directly to the people on the buying committee.

How to sync
- Open Contacts and click Sync with
With only one network connected, the button syncs straight to it. With two or more, it opens a list to choose the networks. - Accept the audience terms
Check the confirmation that you accept the networks’ audience terms and hold the rights and consents required for the contacts. It covers the chosen networks. - Choose the networks and confirm
Each network syncs separately. You can leave the screen: when it finishes, a message shows each network’s result.
Minimum contacts per network
| Network | Minimum | What counts |
|---|---|---|
| LinkedIn Ads | 300 | Contacts LinkedIn can use (profile, email and company data) |
| Google Ads | 100 | Contacts with a valid email or phone |
| Meta Ads | 1 | Contacts with a valid email or phone; the name also helps matching |
A network below its minimum shows as disabled, with the reason in the tooltip. The others can still be synced.
How syncing works
- Each list has one audience per network, with a fixed name and ID. Later syncs only send who joined and who left.
- Emails and phones are sent in protected form (one-way encryption), as the networks require.
- On LinkedIn, each Target Accounts list gets its own contact audience, plus a global audience with every contact.
- After the upload, the network itself takes a while to match the data. On Google, it can take up to 48 hours to show up in Audience Manager.
Terms on Meta
On Meta, an ad account admin must accept the Custom Audience Terms. If LinkedScope can’t accept them automatically, the error message includes the link to accept them. See How to connect Meta Ads to LinkedScope.
To stop depending on clicks, turn on the automatic weekly sync. See How to sync audiences automatically (Target Accounts, Exclusion and Contacts).
Frequently asked questions
The audience is smaller than the list.
Each network only includes the people it can identify. Contacts with a work email, a phone with the country code and a LinkedIn profile match better.
Does changing the language rename audiences?
No. The name is set at creation and the same audience keeps being used.
I deleted the audience on the network. Now what?
On the next sync, LinkedScope notices it no longer exists and creates a new one.
